About Us

Our history

Rancho Hills Titans Pop Warner is a youth football and cheer league. We formed in 2020 when three local football leagues merged. We were Rancho San Diego Pop Warner, Granite Hills Youth Football and Alpine Pop Warner. We decided to join forces in 2020 and become one bigger, stronger league to provide a better experience for players and cheerleaders. Our program for both football and cheer seeks to develop well-rounded young men and women who learn not only fundamentals of football and cheerleading, but also the importance of education, in an atmosphere conducive to developing sound mind, body and character and having a good time along the way!  We stress self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship, leadership and good sportsmanship.

Due to COVID, 2021 was our first full season as a league. Our 14U National Team won the WCC championship in 2021 and went on to regionals! Our 13U Red team won the WCC championship in 2022! Our Titans Pee Wee cheerleaders took home the National title at Jamz in Las Vegas in January 2023! We are part of West Coast Conference which consists of 28 Association’s.

Thanks for visiting Rancho Hills Titans Pop Warner!

We love our Titans family!

FOOTBALL OVERVIEW

Pop Warner football has been around since the inception of the league in 1929 by founder Joseph J. Tomlin as a four-team conference in Northeast Philadelphia. Since then, participation has steadily increased to today’s record numbers. Over 250,000 youths participated in Pop Warner-sanctioned football programs in 2010, and those numbers are continuing to grow.

SAFETY FIRST:

Leagues have options with how to structure their program. While leagues can continue the current structure where a player is placed in a division based on his or her age and weight, they may also instead choose to register players based on age only. Currently, an estimated 75-80% of youth football nationally follows an age-only structure.
Pop Warner places value on safety measures that make a difference. That’s why we have also done things in football like reduce contact to 25% of practice time, eliminate kickoffs for our youngest divisions and require that any player who suffers a suspected head injury receive medical clearance from a concussion specialist before returning to play.
